God's Covenant

Guys, this coming Sunday is point 7 in the Bapstist Confession of Faith - God's Covenant. Whilst it is only a short point it is an important one. So, in advance I thought it would be good if you would all have a read of it and check out some of the proof texts. If you have time you could also go to biblegateway.com and do a word search for 'covenant'. Prizes for the most biblical references to 'covenant' and the order that they appear in scripture. In all seriousness, look to see when the first covenant was struck up; the order of the covenants; and in particular try to identify the two covenants that the book of Hebrews specifically speaks of. This will be helpful for our discussion.

I hope you're all having good weeks. Be encouraged and "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:2
